About The Artist
O’Day Presley was born in Evanston, Illinois in 1941. 2017 is O’Day’s 38th year as a fulltime professional artist in California. After winning awards for his painting skills in High School, he served three years as an 82nd airborne sergeant before jumping back into the world of art.
As a competition hairstylist in the late 60’s, O’Day won many titles and finished second in New York’s, World Supreme Competition. After a few years stuck in a suit, Mr. Presley left that building and hand-carved his first wooden duck decoy in ‘79. Thousands of wildlife sculptures and hundreds of carousel horses later, he laid down his tired chisel and returned a fresh paintbrush to his permanently calloused hand in ’09. Wildlife with abstract flair, and American Heroes, are his current subject matters of passion.
A humbly awesome paintoholic by day and exhausted by night, O’Day’s canvas is always shades of a beautiful life. If one of his oil paintings is near, buy it and love it and cheer, or be kicking yourself in the rear.© Copyright 2017 ClubPresley.com - All Rights Reserved
